1. What types of documents can be laminated using a laminator?
Laminators are versatile machines that can be used to preserve and protect a wide range of documents, including important certificates, photographs, ID cards, business cards, menus, signs, and more. Essentially, any document that needs to be protected from moisture, dirt, or wear and tear can be laminated using a laminator.
2. What are laminating pouches and how do they work?
Laminating pouches are specially designed plastic sleeves that are used in conjunction with a laminator. The pouches consist of two layers of plastic with an adhesive inner layer. You place a document inside a pouch and then run it through the laminator to laminate it. As the pouch passes through the machine, it heats up, activating the adhesive layer and sealing the document within the plastic for long-lasting protection.
3. What are the different sizes of laminating pouches available?
Laminating pouches come in various sizes to accommodate different document sizes. Common pouch sizes include A4 and A3. It's important to choose the right pouch size that matches the dimensions of your document to ensure a proper fit and optimal laminate sealing.
