FAQs:
- What’s a trench cover? Also called a hole cover, this shields open trenches or excavations. It’s designed to prevent accidents and injuries by providing a stable and secure walking surface over the trench for pedestrians and light vehicles. They’re easy to install and remove, making them a practical solution for temporary works.
- Does the colour of each barrier have a different meaning? We stock red, yellow, orange, and white safety barriers. While red is often associated with danger, all of these colours are widely recognised as safety colours. To choose a colour, we recommend thinking about placement and light levels then picking the colour with the best contrast to its surroundings.
- How do you connect barriers together? Start by positioning your barriers to the desired length, then attach by inserting the hook from one fence panel into the corresponding eye of the adjacent panel. Make sure the hook and eye are aligned properly and securely fastened. Repeat this process for each hook and eye set along the entire length of the fence.
